I had the honor of working with Barry at Sunnyvale Air Force Station in the late 1980s. He was quick to solve difficult software issues; always a kind and generous teacher and mentor to everyone around him. He was a true team player and good sport. We had a lot of laughs, too. He was an instigator of fun, and taught all of us how to jingle for cokes. It was a fun guessing game. The orbit analysts loved him. He could do the math with ease, and knew how to tease apart complex problems. I remember his laughter, the twinkle in his eye, and his humility and kindness. A true gentleman of skill and grace. The photo is from a skydiving adventure in Manteca. Oh how he will be missed by everyone lucky enough to call him their friend. A great light has been taken from the world. I will miss him.
